St. John's Wort One-a-Day Tablets
St. John's Wort has been the subject of many studies. In Germany, where it is a prescribable medicine, this herb is more popular with doctors than 'Prozac' for mild to moderate depression. It is considered particularly suitable for use during the menopause, pre-menstrually and in Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
In high dosage St. John's Wort also shows useful antiviral properties.
Amongst St. John's Wort's active ingredients there is one in particular which has received a great deal of attention and this is a substance called Hypericin. Lamberts' ST. JOHN'S WORT is standardised to ensure the same level of hypericin (1000mcg) in each tablet. This is the strongest dose available, and is equal to that used in clinical trials.
Directions: Recommended daily intake: 1 tablet
